The Righteousness of God

¹⁶I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. ¹⁷For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith." (Romans 1:16-17)

All Have Sinned

²³for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23)

Penalty of Sin

²³For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

Saved by God's Love

⁸But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.(Romans 5:8)

The Way to Our Salvation

⁹That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. ¹⁰For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. (Romans 10:9-10)
